Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson (in full Kelly Brianne Clarkson) was born 24 April 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas. Clarkson is an American singer-songwriter and television personality. In 2002, she won the American Idol talent competition. Clarkson was born at Burleson Texas (a suburb located in Fort Worth), where her vocal talents were initially noticed by her seventh grade music teacher. Upon finishing high school, Clarkson was transferred into Los Angeles, where she failed to make it into show business. When she returned to Texas in 2002, Clarkson was a contestant for the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol. This singing competition let viewers select their favourite performer. Viewers were smitten with Clarkson's captivating performance, charisma, and sense of humour. Clarkson's prize for winning the contest was $1 million, as well as the recording contract was signed with RCA.
