Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American writer and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. She offered legal analysis on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She appeared regularly for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl, who was born and grew up in Yakima in Washington State, was a graduate of Yakima from West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's qualification in law from Barnard College (1983), an MA in Arts in Literature Studies from the University of Queensland (1985) in addition to an Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was a prosecutor for the US Attorney's Office. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues for the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as deputy chief investigation counsel for Democrats at the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 until 2001. She ran their Trial Advocacy Program. She was an analyst at Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
